Hydra Club Hotel Village is situated in Marina di Casal Velino, in the heart of the Cilento, Vallo di Diano and Alburni National Park, in the province of Salerno. This charming coastal village stands out for its authentic atmosphere and the natural beauty that surrounds it: from the panoramic hills to the crystal-clear sea, which has been awarded the Blue Flag, a symbol of environmental quality and excellent tourist facilities. Casal Velino combines the charm of the ancient village with the lively seaside centre, offering visitors the chance to alternate days of relaxation on the beach with strolls through picturesque alleyways, nature trails and panoramic views stretching across the entire Cilento coastline.

Beach

The property overlooks the sea directly and offers guests a sunbathing area with imported sand, equipped with parasols and sun loungers (subject to availability), adjacent to the small pebble beach. Access to the water, which has a rocky seabed, is best undertaken wearing rubber-soled shoes and is made easier by a convenient path of jute sacks filled with sand that help you step into the water. For those who prefer sand, a shuttle service is available to a public beach in the centre of Casal Velino Marina, where each room is provided with 1 parasol and 2 sun loungers free of charge, subject to booking and availability. Alternatively, a scenic footpath accessible directly from the property leads to a small public sandy beach, a walk of approximately 150 metres. The shuttle service operates at the following times: outbound from 09:00 to 10:30 and from 15:00 to 16:30, and return from 11:30 to 12:30 and from 17:30 to 19:00.

Rooms

Hotel’s rooms are designed to offer a comfortable and relaxing stay, immersed in the authentic beauty of the Cilento, and are divided into two categories: Classic rooms, with a pleasant view of the garden, and Superior rooms with a sea view (on request). Both are equipped with a mini-bar, shower, TV, telephone and central air conditioning. Some rooms feature a balcony or terrace, ideal for enjoying moments of relaxation in the open air, surrounded by the scents of Mediterranean vegetation or the sound of the waves. Completing the offering are the bungalows set amidst greenery, located approximately 150 metres from the main building. Each unit, featuring a patio on the ground floor or a small terrace on the first floor, offers privacy and tranquillity: with the same facilities as the hotel but furnished in a simpler style, they are the perfect solution for those seeking closer contact with nature without sacrificing the hotel’s comforts. Bungalows cannot be booked by guests with children under the age of 3 or by guests with mobility impairments (due to slopes and steps that make access difficult). Cots are available in Classic and Superior rooms; please request this at the time of booking, subject to a supplement of € 10 per day (to be paid on site).

Bar and Restaurant

The Hotel offers a buffet breakfast with a wide selection of pastries, croissants, jams, chocolate spread, honey, butter, fresh seasonal fruit, plain and fruit yoghurts, cereals, cheeses, cold cuts, fresh bread and toast, hot drinks (milk, coffee, tea, hot chocolate) and cold drinks (milk, water, fruit juices), whilst lunch and dinner are served at your table. Meals include microfiltered water (still or sparkling) and house wine. Special children’s menus are available, comprising a starter, main course and side dish. Gluten-free options available. Baby feeding room: accessible 24 hours a day for young guests aged 0 to 3 years. The menu offers a choice of two first courses (meat or fish, plus a tomato pasta dish always available) and two main courses (meat or fish) every day, accompanied by two side dishes of vegetables and fruit or dessert. There is also a panoramic bar open from 08:00 to 24:00 and a beach kiosk open from 10:00 to 12:30 and from 16:00 to 19:00.

Facilities and Services

The property has a free, unstaffed private outdoor car park (subject to availability) and a wonderful outdoor swimming pool, set amidst a beautiful landscape of olive trees and offering stunning sea views.

For leisure and recreation, there is a multi-purpose pitch for five-a-side football, tennis and basketball.
